William P. Reimann, August 2002
William P. Reimann received his M.F.A. from Yale University in 1961, at the height of one of the most fertile and exciting eras at that institution. Working with Joseph Albers, Rico Lebrun, and other important artists, Mr. Reimann gained early recognition for his extraordinary artistic versatility and technical genius. On the forefront of design techniques in Plexiglas and steel, his works were exhibited at--and entered in the permenant collections of--the Whitney Museum and the Museum of Modern Art in New York before he had completed his graduate work. His art is also permanently lodged in the National Gallery in Washington in the J.D. Hatch Collection of American Drawings.

Mr. Reimann's work can be found in numerous public, corporate, and private settings. Most recently, he has been nationally recognized for his series of public sculptures celebrating diversity and cultural heritage.
